Thick and substantial, this copper money clip is cut from 18 gauge copper (1
mm thick) and shaped by hand so no two are exactly alike.
I've embossed this one with a deer silhouette. Corners are slightly rounded
and all edges are sanded so it's comfortable to handle.
Approximately 2 inches long and just under an inch wide.
The clip is made by running a paper template through a manual rolling mill
with the copper. The template is destroyed in the process so each one is just a
little bit different.
Last photo is plain copper money clip for size reference. It is available here:
** Copper reacts to its environment and develops its own patina over time.
I've started the process by giving it a rustic, chocolate brown finish. But
please note that the look of the piece will change over time with handling.
