For your consideration is an incredible hand-tooled leather bowling bag from
the 1970’s, with hand-painted lettering on the front. The tooling is gorgeous,
and features a horse head on front and floral pattern on the back, and tooled
designs on each side. Sturdy and comfortable padded handles to support the
weight. Large brass zipper opens from one side down to the other. There is also
a zipper on the side to access contents below the bowling ball holding area.
The interior has a removable bowling ball “nest”, with a velveteen covered wood
frame to place the ball in, and keeps it from rolling around in the bag. The
bag is fully lined in the tan velveteen.
The bottom of the bag is a textured vinyl and has 5 brass ball “feet”.
“Mexico” stamped on the side.
I will include the 3 score cards from the early 80’s and the original owner’s
wrist guards.

Condition:
The leather is lovely and strong, with minor surface dings attributed to its
age and usage. There is some rust and oxidation to the metal hardware such as
the pieces on the straps and the zipper pulls. The zippers work well.
Presents beautifully.

Measurements:
12” wide
13” tall
8 3/4” side width
